Kerala Set Mundu
Kerala Weddings · Onam · Vishu · Temple Ceremonies
The Set Mundu is Kerala in a drape — the cream, the gold kasavu border, the way it moves like water. When I put this on someone for the first time, there is almost always a moment of stillness. It is that kind of beautiful.
The Kerala Set Mundu is a two-piece garment — a white or off-white mundu (dhothi) and a matching neriyathu (upper cloth) — both with the distinctive golden kasavu border woven in. It is the traditional dress of Kerala worn at weddings, Onam, Vishu, and temple ceremonies. The draping style is distinctive and immediately recognisable, with the neriyathu styled over the upper body in a way unique to Kerala tradition.
Complimentary Trial Drape
Every bride gets a complimentary trial run before her big day — she chooses her pleat count, the width of each pleat, and whether she prefers a fuller, puffier finish or a clean, flat one, so Smitha drapes it exactly to her preference.
